Apartment Interior Design, 260 sqm, Bucharest

This 260 sqm residence features 3.90 m ceiling heights and is set within a historic building where the original façade was preserved while the interior structure was completely reconfigured.

The project reflects my design philosophy: architecture before decoration, proportion before effect, coherence before spectacle.

The interior is conceived as a unified composition rather than a collection of objects. The generous ceiling height is treated not as a visual asset, but as a design tool. Large volumes, vertical rhythm and continuous lines ensure the space reads as a coherent whole. Everything is deliberate, composed and controlled.

The aesthetic is contemporary, subtly tempered by refined French classical influences integrated into the existing architecture. Classical elements: moldings, panel proportions and the rhythm of the frames are set in dialogue with clean volumes and contemporary furniture.

Light is approached as an architectural element rather than an accessory. Both natural daylight and layered artificial lighting shape the volumes, articulate the rhythm and maintain a consistent atmosphere throughout the day.

Apartment Interior Design, 260 sqm, Bucharest

260 sqm | Bucharest | 2025

A residence defined by rare proportions: 260 sqm with 3.90 m ceilings – set within a historic building of strong architectural presence.

Architecture leads the concept: vertical rhythm, clear volumes and controlled proportions. A contemporary language, subtly infused with refined French influences.

Natural materials shape the atmosphere – warm wood surfaces, stone with a discreet vein pattern and a restrained, neutral palette.
